HTTP Can Impact Negatively On Your Ads Revenue

Does this sound strange to you? Well, it should not. Because that is the fact -your blog's ads revenue can be negatively affected if your blog is till using HTTP and not HTTPS.
Below I explain how this can happen.

When your blog is be transmitted over HTTP in the internet, it means that, the blog's content that your visitor is viewing is not encrypted from the web server before sending it to visitor's browser. Thus middlemen such as hackers and the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of the visitor can read and as well alter the content of your blog's page before it gets to the visitor's browser.

This act is accomplished using cross-site scripting. In other words, what I am trying to point out is, your blog -if it run on HTTP- can be a victim of cross-site scripting.

One of the major reason an hacker will have to victimize a blog that runs on HTTP -especially when the blog does not have a provision for its users to fill in their credit card details- is so that they can alter the blog owner's ads code with theirs.
Thus when a visitor views your blog, instead of your own advertisement to be displayed, it is the ads of the hacker or ISP that have victimized your blog that will be displayed.
And this is sure to affect your ads revenue negatively.

So wise up. Make the switch to HTTPS, which will ensure that hackers or the ISP of your blog's visitor will not be able to see and tamper the information of your blog content before it is delivered to the visitor.
