In order to make use of the Disavow Backlink tool of Google Search Console, there are basically three things you need to do. These things are: (1) Get all the url of all the webpage that is giving your site backlink, and single out the ones which backlinks are of low quality that you want to disavow (2) Compile the url of the webpage you have singled out into a list, and finally (3) upload the list via the Disavow Backlink page.
Let's walk you through this steps in details.
Step 1: Get the Backlinks
Step 2: Compile The List
Next you will need to create a text file (i.e. the file type needs to be .txt and the encoding should be UTF-8 or 7-bit ASCII) which contains url of all the webpage you want to disavow backlinks from. You can use the popular Windows utility called Notepad to create this list.
When creating the list, each url you want to disavow should be in one line, and the line should start with an hash (#) sign. This is an example of how the list should be complied.
You will notice that the last link has a domain: prefix. Use this only if you want Google to ignore all backlink from a site.
Step 3: Upload The List
When you are done compiling the list, head over to the Disavow backlint page of the Google Search Console site.
Select your website and then click on the Disavow links button.
In the next screen, click the Disavow Links button after you have read the warning, then in the dialog box that will appear next, click the Choose file button to upload the list and Submit it.
