Have you been in a situation whereby you want to insert a new worksheet to your workbook but just forget where to click to do that? Or is it that you just do not know it?
If yes, then we get you covered, because by means of this post, we are going to explain to you five different ways, by which you can insert a new worksheet. There are

Using The New Sheet Button
In the sheet bar of the Microsoft Excel 2016 window just before the Status bar, there is an encycled plus sign button that is after the current sheet bar available.

That button is called, New Sheet and clicking on it will create a new worksheet after the current active cell.

This is the first way.

Using The Ribbon
The second I am going to talk about is using the command icon in the Excel 2016 ribbon to insert a new worksheet.

To use it, you need to select the Home tab and in the Cell command group found in the Home tab, click on Insert, and then Insert sheet from the menu that will appear.

Note: If you use this method, the new worksheet will be inserted before or behind the current active sheet.

Using The Right-Click Menu To Insert New Worksheet In Excel 2016
When I say right-click menu, I mean not the right-click menu that will ensure when you right-click on a cell or any portion of the ribbon, but I mean on a current sheet bar.

In the sheet bar, there are sheet bar(s), when you right-click on it and click the Insert... option in the menu that will appear, an Insert dialog box will be display.

Select Worksheet icon in the General tab and click the OK button.

Note: If you use this method, the new worksheet will be inserted before or behind the current active sheet.

Using The Tell me what you want to do... Search Box To Insert New Worksheet In MS Excel 2016
After all the tabs in the ribbon of MS Excel 2016 is the Tell me what you want to do... search box.

When you type in worksheet into it, among the result it will bring is Insert, hover you mouse on it and click on the New Sheet option in the sub-menu that will appear.

Note: If you use this method, the new worksheet will be inserted before or behind the current active sheet.

Using The Keyboard Shortcut Key to Insert New Worksheet In Microsoft Excel 2016
The keyboard shortcut key for inserting new worksheet is Shift + F11.

When you press it, a new worksheet will be inserted before or behind the current active sheet.

These are the five (5) different ways in which one can use to insert new worksheet into a workbook in Microsoft Excel 2016 that I know of. If you know of others that we do not write, please share and I will sure update after I have confirm it.
