How To Install DirectX End-User Runtime Offline Installer To Fix Missing .DLL






DirectX End-User Runtime is a package developed to fix many missing .dll file in a computer using the Windows OS. The steps below will guide you on how you can use the offline installer to install DirectX End-User package to your computer.


  1. After you have successfully downloaded the DirectX End-User Runtime Offline Installer. Open the folder your downloaded files usually is saved to and double-clicked on it icon. Its icon is similar to the image above.
  2. In the Microsoft Software License term window that display, click Yes to continue with the installation. If you click No the installation will be cancelled.

  3. In the next window, you will be asked to specify where the content of the Offline Installer package will be extracted to. Click the Browse… button to choose. You can choose any folder of your choice. But we will recommend that you create a new folder for it and select that new folder as the location. You can place the new folder anywhere. But for the purpose of this guide, were created a New Folder (2) in the desktop has the location.
    Once you are set, click the OK button to start the extraction.
  4. After the extraction complete, locate the folder you selected for the content to be extracted to, and double-click to open it.
  5. Next Scroll down the content of the folder to locate a file named DXSETUP double-clicked on it when you see it to open/run it. Click Yes in the User Account Control box the will appear.
  6. In the Welcome to setup for DirectX box, check the I accept the agreement and click Next>
  7. The next screen that will show is the DirectX Setup screen click Next> to state installation.

That is all. The installer will automatically search your computer for existing .dll and will then install the missing .dll. when the installer completes, it will notify you. all you need do now is click the Finish button in the Installation Complete screen, and restart/reboot your computer.
