Apology Before Speaking | Is It Always Wrong?

First of all, what is Apology before speaking? As the term implies, it is appealing to your listeners not to get easily offended or irritated by what one is about to say. A typical example of the kind of speech is: “I am not sure is it is write, but …” and speech like that.

Is that manner of speaking wrong? Well, there is no law or principle in language that says this manner of speaking is wrong. So everyone need to decide when best to use this type of speech. But there are some things that you need to know about Apology before Speaking, and that is why we are writing this article.

Some people holds that when you apologize before speaking, then it makes you seems lower. But to us, we say: “humility pays, egotism does not.” Yes, true, it makes you seem that you are appealing, but sometimes it is for the best.

The Main Point
Apology before speaking is not bad, in fact we encourage it. But do not make it your lifestyle, because while it is important for us to cultivate humility. We should not because of that, build in others a spirit of egotism. So we should be balance, Speak with authority when the time is right, and also with humility when circumstances call for it.
