Duplicating Options Available To CorelDraw X3 Users

Copy & Paste: This option which is probably the widely used is quite easy. All you need do is to copy the object or text you wish to duplicate to Clipboard by pressing Ctrl+C after you have selected the object or text and then pasting it from the Clipboard by pressing Ctrl+V.

Drag+Spacebar or Right-Click: In CorelDraw X3, this object or text duplicating option is implemented by press(ing) the Spacebar or Right-click(ing) while dragging an object or text. When done, the copies will be created instantly, but when you use this option, the object size will be affected. In that when you drag to expand, the duplicated object will be bigger while if you drag to shrink, the duplicated object will be smaller than the original object or text.

Plus Sign (+): To use this duplicating option in CorelDraw X3, all you need do is, Select the object or text you want to duplicate, next press the plus sign (+) on the numeric keypad in your keyboard. This duplicating option makes the duplicate the exert size of the original, also, the duplicated object is placed on top of the original object. This means that the position of the duplicated object along the x and y axes of the original object is 0,0 axes.

The Duplicate Function (Ctrl+D): This option place the duplicated copy directly in the drawing window and it does not use the Clipboard. Just select the Object or Text and the press Ctrl+D. When you are using this option for the first time, a dialogue box will appear which you use to specify the offset or the distance of the duplicated object from the original object.
