Attraction, Infatuation _ Any Difference

It is true that in some cases, two English word can be used interchangeably, but the fact is, just because those two words can be used interchangeably dose not mean that they have the same meaning.

This can be applied when talking about the difference between Sexual Attraction and Sexual Infatuation. So to help us determine what the difference between Attraction and Infatuation is, we need to understand what they really mean.

Sexual attraction is rightly define as the arousal of ones sexual interest by means of some physiological power or by means of some physical attributes. Sexual Attraction has nothing to do with the way you feel, rather Sexual attraction  means that a person's sexual interest toward another is based on the physical attributes of the other person, such as the person's appearance and the way the person act.

Infatuation on the other hand is not based only on what you see, but also on what you feel. Most times, infatuation seem like love but it is not actually love, because it is based on how you feel, and not how both parties feel.

For example: a lady might nurture a romantic feeling for a man, because the lady refuses to to accept the fact that the man do not have or nurture the same feelings has she is. In this case, the lady's can be said to be infatuately in love with the man, because her love is not based on facts, (which is true love) neither is it based only on what she sees (which is Attraction) but also based on how she alone feels.
