Uncovering the IP Address Of Website Using Command Prompt

There are many tools available that you can use to get the IP address of a website. But if you are a Windows OS user, you probably don't need those tools if what you want is just the website IP address, because Command Prompt can get that for you.

To get a website IP address, all you need to do is to ping the website using Command Prompt and it will return result with with website IP address and in some cases, the DNS server it is using.

To ping a website using Command Prompt, type in the following command line,

ping [website url] and then hit the Enter button
Example: ping www.pinfoltd.com or
                 ping www.facebook.com
