Edit PDF File Using Google



Except for the fact that PDF is a great way of sharing document without having alteration in the document formatting and layout when the other person opens it, sharing document through the PDF format can be annoying because it quite difficult to edit it, unless of course you have purchased the full version of Acrobat, not just the reader.



Yes it is true that there many tools out there you can use to edit PDF for free, but must times when using those tools, you are sure to loos about 50% of the text formatting and layout that have been applied to the document, but thanks to Google you have retain up to 99% of the formatting.
Here is how to use Google to Edit PDF Files.

  1. Sign into Google Drive using your Google account.
     
  2. Click on the New button and click on File Upload to upload the PDF file.
     
  3. After it has been uploaded to your drive, Right-click the file icon in Drive's dashboard and select Open with in the menu that will pop-up, while in the sub-menu that will display, select Google Docs.
    Once done, the PDF file will open in a new browser tab with Google Docs interface, and from there you can edit the document.
    If the PDF file is large Docs will automatically create a outline of all the page for easy navigation.
As noted earlier, because of the advance formatting feature of Google Docs 99% of the PDF file formatting and layout will be retained and after your edition, you can even download it as a Docx, ODT, TXT, RTF file.

So you see, using Google ot edit your PDF file is a great option.
