How Computer Understand Letters

As you may already know, in order to interact with a computer, you need a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWG) software. Why? Because computer understand only Machine Language which is written in binary, which is either 1 or 0.



Thus what software does is to interpret the command you are giving to the computer into binary and then when the Computer has processed the command and is giving you feedback, the software you are using will convert the feedback which is given in binary to the text or graphic you see in the monitor.


Having said this, my intent of writing this post is to give you insight as to how a computer sees the letter characters you type in. That is, I am going to show you how letters look like in binary, and the table below will do justice to that.
