My Website Stats In Google Console Is Not Up-To-Date

And it will not be. When you newly add your website to Google Webmaster Tool, or even if you have added it for years now, you should not and I mean never expect that your site google's stats will will updated in realtime. No, Google console update their stats in intervals and not in realtime.

So there is always a lag, that is a timeframe between when Google console collect your website stats and when they make it available for your viewing in your google webmaster tool account.

But there is another thing that affect your website stats not being up-to-date. And that is the performance of your website content.

You see, true google publish your website stats on your google console account on intervals but the unknow truth to many is that the length of the intervals is determined by the activities of googlebots on your website.

What do I mean,  if the content of your website does not change very often, or if you are not getting new links to your site very often, you will not see updates to your website data stats every time you sign in to Search Console.

So if you want to shorten the length of the intervals in which google uses to display your stats, then you need to get the word out about your website so as to get more people visiting and naturally linking to it. If you can do this, it means googlebot will spend much time on your site, and once Google starts crawling your site more often, you'll notice that Search Console will begin to show more detailed data, and that this data is updated more often.

This is the simple truth about why you website stats in your google console account is not up-to-date and what you need to do in order to fix it.
