How To Locate The Startup Folder Of Word 2007.


Why should you be even interested in knowing where the Startup folder of your Word 2007 folder is located? It is because, if you want a Template or Add-Ins to be loaded alongside Word immediately you open Word, then you should be interested.




So If you notice that the Add-Ins that you have loaded into your MS Word 2007 program is not starting up automatically when you launch the Word program, then It is not a problem, because it is has a result of Word default settings. But you can alter it.

To alter it, you need to save or store the Add-ins into the Word’s startup program folder. The location of this folder varies depending on the Operating System you are using. So to locate it in your computer, do the following:
  1. Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options.
     
  2. Next click Advanced in the left section of the Word Options dialog box.
     
  3. Scroll down to the General section, and click on the File Locations button.
In the dialog box that will appear, you will see the part to the Startup folder. You can copy the part and paste it on your computer’s file explorer to go to it or double-click on it, to open it as a dialog box.

Once you have locate the folder, Save the Add-Ins that you want available when you start Word to the location that is listed for Startup and you are good.
