Creating a USB or CD/DVD installation disk for Windows 10 operating system is quite simple as long as you the right tool, and that is what this article is here for.
Let us be clear. in order for you to be able to create and installation USB or CD/DVD disk for Windows 10 or any other operating system, what you need is:

  1. The IOS file of Windows 10 or the OS you want to use. (For clarity, will give the example with Windows 10 OS, but the process apply to any operating system you want to use)
  2. A blank USB or CD/DVD disk that is at least of a 4GB capacity.
  3. The third, last and possibly the most important thing you need is a utility that can write the IOS file of Windows 10 to the USB or CD/DVD disk and then convert the USB or CD/DVD to become bootable USB or CD/DVD disk so that the BIOS of a computer can recognize the USB or CD/DVD disk as containing an OS's Setup.

STEP 1: Getting Windows 10 IOS File

So lets start with the First Step, which is getting the IOS file of Windows 10. Click >>> HERE <<< to download the IOS file of Windows 10

Let us be clear with you, Microsoft will not willingly release the IOS file of Windows 10 to you if you go to the download port and search for the IOS file of Windows 10 if you are using a Windows operating system to surf their download portal. Their download portal can automatically detect your OS, so if you visit their download portal using your Windows enabled PC, you will not get the IOS file, what they will offer you is the web install for Windows 10 which if you use will download and install Windows 10 to your PC automatically.
So we recommend that you visit their download portal using your mobile phone which in not a Windows phone or a computer which is not already running on Windows.

STEP 2: The Recommend USB or CD/DVD To Use

There is no much to be said about the type of USB or CD/DVD that is required. But what you should know is that, then USB or CD/DVD that you use much be at least of 4GB storage capacity. This is not an option, it is a requirement, even though when downloading and the ISO file and the file is not up to 4GB still, still you still need 4GB storage capacity of USB or CD/DVD.

Also you should note that creating a Installation USS or CD/DVD disk for Windows 10 or any other OS means that that USB or CD/DVD will be exclusively reserved as a bootable USB or CD/DVD.
You cannot use it to co-save other file to it.

STEP 3: Recommend Utility/Tool for Writing the IOS File To The USB or CD/DVD So As To Make It Bootable.

While we are going to tell a hand full of utilities you can use to writhe the IOS file of the USB or CD/DVD and thus create an installation USB or CD/DVD disk for Windows 10, we are still going to explain some.

The developer of Rufus claims that Rufus's writing process is twice faster than Windows USB/DVD Download Tool, and it is quite true. The downside of Rufus is that, Rufus only have the ability write to USB and not to DVD. But the fact is, using Rufus is a simple as you can ever imagine.

How To Create An Installation USB or CD/DVD Disk For Windows 10 Using Rufus.
Before you continue, please look carefully at the image below, because that is how Rufus look like when you open/launch it.
The Device section is where you are going to select the USB you want to write the IOS file to. Leave the rest at they are, the will change automatically once you have load the IOS file.

  4. YUMI

The final utility we will be recommending for your usage so that you can create an installation USB or CD/DVD is YUMI a.k.a Your Universal Multiboot Installer.
As the nickname of YUMI shows, this utility unlike the one outline above can enable add more than one ISO/Distribution to a single USB, thus you can use one USB as the installation USB for multiple OS/Distribution.
Though this is successor of MultibootISOs utility, the fact is, it cannot be used to write or add an OS to an Installation USB created using another utility not excluding MultibootISOs utility. Also, the fact that YUMI was originally created "to be used to store and run various "LIVE LINUX" Operating Systems and tool from USB" does not mean that it cannot also be used for creating an installation USB for Windows OS, IT CAN, and that is why it is appearing in this list of our recommendation.

How To Create An Installation USB or CD/DVD Disk For Windows 10 Using YUMI
Using YUMI is quite simple, in fact it is as simple as using Rufus, because all you need to do after you have downloaded the utility is:
Run YUMI-2.0.2.8.exe following the one-onscreen instructions to create/add the first IOS file.
Run the tool again to Add More ISOs/Distributions to your USB Drive.
Restart your PC setting it to boot from the USB device so that you can install the OS you have added.
Select a OS/distribution to Boot from the Menu if you have added more than one and enjoy!

That's all there is to it. With that you are now able to create and installation bootable USB for Windows 10 and also be boot your PC from your custom Multi-Boot USB device you have created. The only downside of YUMI is that you cannot use it to create Installation bootable CD/DVD disk for Windows 10 only USB it can be used for.
