My Microsoft Word2010 Program No Longer AutoSave Document | Fix It Now








If your Microsoft Word2010 in your computer no longer AutoSave your documents, then it might be because that you have or the AutoSave feature have been deactivated. The steps below will guide you on the process of re-enabling the AutoSave feature of Microsoft Word2010 program.


  1. Launch Word2010 program and click on the File tab in the tab section of the Ribbon

  2. Next, click on Option in the left panel of the File menu which is below or under the Help button


  3. Next, click on Save in the left section of the Word Option window that will appear.

  4. Check the box titled Save AutoRecovery information every, or you can just tap the A button in your keyboard, and the box will be check.

  5. Next specify how often you want Word2010 to AutoSave the document in the field before minute

  6. Also remember to check the box Keep the last autosaved version if I close without saving


  7. You can also change the location (specified in the AutoRecover file location box) where the program automatically saves a version of files you work on

  8. Finally click OK to exist out.

That is all. Once done your Microsoft Word2010 program in your computer will start or resume to its AutoSave function again.
