Minimizing The Ribbon Of Microsoft Word 2010

There are basically three ways of minimizing the Ribbon of Microsoft Word 2010, and they are:

  1.   On your keyboard, press Ctrl+F1
  2. Right-click on any place in the Ribbon and click Minimize the Ribbon which is the last option in the menu that will appear when you right click.
  3. Click on the Minimize the Ribbon button which is at the far-right of the Tab section of the ribbon before the Microsoft Word Help button.

As you may already know, the Microsoft Word 2010 Ribbon consist of the Tabs and Command Groups. Minimizing the ribbon does not remove the Tabs from the Word 2010 window, but it removes the Command Groups, thereby giving your typing page more space.
