How To Remove Links From Text In MicroSoft Word 2007

When you copy a text from a web page and paste it on ms word 2007, most times those text come with links which are embedded on them. Also if you are writing a document and type a url, word automatically insert a link to that word.

Those links most times make the document unattractive to look at and may present readability issues.

Can those links be removed if not need? YES is the answer. the following steps will show you how this task can be accomplished.

STEP 1: Highlight the text which have the embedded link.

STEP 2: Click on the Insert Tab in the file menu which is above the ribbon.

STEP 3: In the Link section under on the ribbon that displays after you have click the Insert Tab, Click on Hyperlink. It will bring up a dialog box called edit hyperlink.

STEP 4: Click on the Remove Link button which is on the right side of the Edit Hyperlink dialog box, just before the Ok and Cancel button, and click OK.
