  • Visit the official Google URL shortener website site which is goo.gl.

  • If you aren't signed in (that is, if you have a google account but have not signed in), click the Sign in button in the top right corner.   • Click Shorten URL.
Once clicked, the shorten url will appear on the right layout of the goo.gl site along with a preview of the web page the url is pointing to, press CRT+C to copy it.
